Sonoma Wine Country Weekend ~ September 2011

This year's theme was Homecoming and from tailgate decor, to a Custom Scoreboard backdrop, to the Glass Reunion Bar and the Ivy League Lounge - we had a great time creating a cozy Homecoming guest experience.

We love this theme ~ it's so fun to customize!  Our in house design team created the LOOK and FEEL and our production team handled the rest.  Great team effort for a fun and stylish client!

WWII / USO Theme Party

We had so much fun with this WWII / USO Theme Event.  James Torme and his jazz trio provided the entertainment.  Gorgeous staff in period hair and makeup added to the ambiance.   Beautiful tablescapes, custom menu & table cards, lounges, specialty lighting, etc. made this a night to remember!

Weddings!

We had the privilege of working on many FABULOUS and WONDERFUL Weddings in 2010.    One of our favorites was at a private family ranch in Valley Ford.  Our clients and hosts were GRACIOUS, KIND and AMAZING people.    Pineapple Planet provided the design, planning & coordination, staffing, furniture, decor, lighting, etc.   Incredible floral arrangements by VANDA FLORALS, tent and party rental items from ENCORE EVENTS RENTALS, delicious food by LOMBARDIS CATERING, phenomenal cake by Fleur de Lisa Cakes, and amazing photography by JENNY ELWICK.  Rachel and her Fiancée, Todd, planned the wedding with us from Israel.  We communicated via email and then had a fabulous site visit in June to finalize the details.

When the weekend arrived in September - we were ready for the festivities to begin.

The Bride & Groom provided all of their out of town guests with a delicious BBQ - complete with a full roasted PIG from Lombardi's Catering.

Ceremony 

Wedding Day was here and the rainy, cloudy skies - opened up - just about 1 hour prior to the ceremony.   The ceremony was held up on a bluff on the property and guests and musicians were shuttled in hay wagons.  It was GORGEOUS!
